Legacies and Limits
Mountains may crumble, but rocks
endure,
Their steadfast nature remains
secure.
Empires rise, destined to fall,
Their span too brief or none at all.
Legacies linger, shadows cast,
Echoes of right, or sins of the past.
Like a mortal bound to meet their
end,
The universe walks a path it cannot bend.
Its time extends, yet fate is clear,
An endless cycle drawing near.
A tale of time, both vast and
small,
The rise and ruin that touches all.
Their span too brief or none at all.
Legacies linger, shadows cast,
Echoes of right, or sins of the past.
The universe walks a path it cannot bend.
Its time extends, yet fate is clear,
An endless cycle drawing near.
The rise and ruin that touches all.
